Algebrator Software Review & Giveaway

I was given the opportunity to review the Algebrator, which is a math claculator that works out your problems and shows all the work. I needed this program desperately about 4 months ago when I was taking a Statistics class. I love that when you start a new problem it even looks like a page out of your notebook and that it shows all of the work so that you actually learn how to solve the problems and see where you went wrong. I think that this would be a great tool for homeschoolers!

Here are a few things Algebrator will do for you:

Here is a link to one of the short demo videos to show you how the Algebrator works: http://www.softmath.com/demos/graphing-inequalities.htm

To purchase your copy of the Algebrator it is only $58.99 if you click here.

What Algebrator IS NOT:

  • it is not a subscription
  • it is not a tutoring service
  • it is not web-based
  • it does not have a 'license' that has to be renewed (it's yours forever)
  • it is not tied to any particular algebra book (because it solves problems from every book)
Algebrator is simply a software program that you download and install on your personal computer, which you can then use for as long as you need to.

  1. I'd like it for grading my children's work and being able to show them how to properly work out a problem.
